【緯度経度】暴君ネロ並み　習近平政権の苛烈なキリスト教弾圧　古森義久   2015.08.30 　「浙江省だけでこの１年半に合計１５００本以上の十字架が中国政府当局により破壊され、撤去された。習近平政権の異常なキリスト教弾圧の一環なのだ」 　中国のキリスト教徒擁護の国際人権団体「中国援助協会」のボブ・フー（中国名・傅希秋）会長が熱をこめて証言した。米国の「中国に関する議会・政府委員会」が７月下旬に開いた公聴会だった。立法府と行政府が合同で中国の人権や社会の状況を調べ、米側の対中政策の指針とすることを目的とした委員会である。この公聴会は「習近平の中国での弾圧と支配」と題され、中国政府の宗教や信仰の弾圧を報告していた。 　米国の国政の場では習政権の人権弾圧への非難がいま一段と高まってきた。同委員会の共同議長のマルコ・ルビオ上院議員も公聴会の冒頭で「習近平政権は文化大革命以来の最も過酷な弾圧をいま実行している」と強調した。同議員は上院外交委員会の有力メンバーで来年の大統領選に向け共和党で立候補した注目度の高い政治家である。 　同公聴会ではキリスト教のほかチベットやウイグルでの弾圧、気功集団への徹底取り締まりが議題とされ、それぞれの被害者側の代表が証人として報告した。なかでも日本ではあまり報じられないのはキリスト教への弾圧である。 　「中国当局はキリスト教の家庭教会と呼ばれる非公認教会を邪教と断じ、信者の多い浙江省内だけでもここ１年半に５０の教会を破壊し、信者１３００人を逮捕した。当局はとくに信仰のシンボルとなる十字架の破壊を頻繁に続けている」 　フー会長の証言によると、中国政府は習政権の下で共産党の無神論に基づく宗教弾圧だけでなく、キリスト教の外国との絆を敵視しての抑圧を強化し始めた。 中国では当局支配下のキリスト教組織として「三自愛国教会」や 「天主教愛国会」があり、その信徒が２千万人強とされる。それ以 外に１億人ほどが当局の禁じる地下教会で信仰を持つとみられ る。沿岸部で欧米との絆の強い浙江省にとくに信者が多い。 　最近の十字架破壊は当局支配下の教会にもおよび、十字架は 教会の尖塔（せんとう）の上は禁止、建物の前面の最上部ではな い壁に埋め込むことを命じられるようになった。それに反対する牧 師や信徒はすぐ拘束さ
